Salcombe Boat Share Club is a local boat and rib share program that is run by us locally from our Salcombe and Dartmouth locations. The boat club members get access to a variety of new recreational boats and ribs for a fraction of the cost of owning them. More choice, less hassle and less money. The club is a fully managed service that handles all the boats storage, insurance, handling, mooring and maintenance. Members also benefit from a full range of high quality RYA training courses included in the package.

New Ribquest 6.8 metre for 2013 season
We are just ordering a new Ribequest 6.8 metre rib for the next season and memberships are being taken now for this rib. Membership will be limited to just four members for this rib based in Salcombe and Dartmouth. The cost will be £385 plus VAT per month for a 12 month fully managed membership.
Similar to the rib in the picture she will be a fully MCA coded rib with the Atlantic console four jockey seats and moulded rear bench seat for four persons. This is a super smooth rib for waterski and wakeboards and has outstanding sea keeping abilities. The Atlantic console has bags of storage as do the jockey and rear bench seats.
The hull be laid down in November and she will be ready by March 1st. We have a choice of colours to be decided so members signing now have the fun deciding their preferred colour choices. Although we have shall put it to the vote. Powered by a 250hp Suzuki outboard and fitted with rear transom ladder and side entry ladder, Icom VHF radio, Garmin chart plotter and fish finder a great boat for fishing, watersports, cruising and family fun.
Learn how to Wake board and Waterski
One of the great things you can do on a rib is water ski and wakeboard, a great fun sport. Whilst this is forbidden in the estuary itself there are some great places along the coast that can be used and start bay is the best place. A large sheltered area offers a lot of flat water and gives a super ski area. we find it one of the safest places to water ski. Just outside of Salcombe is Starehole Bay a great place again but a much smaller area and it is also a very very busy place. If you are planning to go water skiing or would like to learn we recommend getting some lessons but not only in skiing itself biut also driving the water ski boat properly and safely. Our RYA training centre can provide both lessons in water skiing and wake-boarding but also run the Ski boat driver award in Salcombe.
